I just finished the cardi I've made for my nib's 18th birthday present, and it is SO beautiful, and I am SO proud of it, and I am SO terrified of putting it in a parcel and sending it to her in Spain 😬 I MADE BUTTONS

Close up of a hand knitted cardigan. It is knitted in dark raspberry coloured Icelandic wool. The main body is in stockinette, with chunky cables as waist shaping. The yoke and button placket are in moss stitch. It has three round chunky buttons, made from the same yarn as the cardigan. I wet felted a swatch, and used that felt to cover buttons from my stash.

A naked humanoid figure in a semi-reclined position, facing the viewer. He has a relatively large head, bald, with large, round, protruding ears, a snub nose, slightly open beestung lips, a cute little nose, and one large eye, centred.

He has a little pot belly. Some sort of fabric is draped over his raised thigh. His penis is casually draped across his recumbent thigh. He's got a heck of a foreskin on him.

In the hand of the arm on which he's leaning, is held a simple handleless cup. The fingers of his other hand rest on his belly, but it's almost like he's seductively stroking the rim of the cup.

Polyphemus is feeling himself, and who are we to argue with the son of Poseidon?

Almost finished knitting this cardi for my nib's 18th birthday present. She picked the design, yarn and colour (which is much more deep raspberry irl)

Partially finished hand knitted cardi. It's long line, with short sleeves. It's mostly stockinette, with chunky cables for waist shaping and a moss stitch yoke.

Stockinette version done and ooooh, I like it. I knitted it at a looser gauge for drape, and calculated the short rows for the mitre using my stitch/row ratio. I crocheted a dc border around the whole piece to minimise curling. I think this is a decent proof of concept!

I finished my Doctor-sized "20 minute blouse" prototype, and I'm pleasantly surprised! It makes me think of Jenna Stannis and I am *not* mad about it. Did it in garter stitch, coz mitring garter is trivial, but now I want to have a go at a stockinette version

10" Thirteenth Doctor figure, wearing a hand knitted jumper. It's knitted in off-white cotton 4ply yarn, and garter stitch. It has a deep shawl collar, wide elbow-length sleeves, and is gathered at the waist with a crocheted tie

Reverse of previous image. The back of the jumper comes down to a point at the base of the Doctor's spine. There is a visible line down the length of the spine from short row wraps. Beneath the pointed section, excess fabric from the front section wraps around the Doctor's waist.

The front of the jumper, as previously described, but the Doctor's arms are slightly wide to better show the shaping of the garment

One of our Stitch Club gang is going home to France next month (she's here on foreign study year), so we're giving her a little surprise send-off tonight. I made a card. It's a little chaotic, but I love it

Handmade going away card. It's a scene of a whole bunch of stamped, coloured and die-cut sheep (all in different sheepy colours) holding coffee mugs, knitting, scissors, balls of yarn etc, surrounded by same, and mini replicas of our club posters (mid-pink with a dark pink ball of yarn, and the text "HPSC"). At the top of the card, a pink banner with dark pink text reads "We'll Miss Ewe", because I cannot resist a punny sentiment.
