Back to back summer roadtrips in my project cars - 1900miles (JDM SVX) and 1000 miles (E30) covered. Up next: another 1500 miler for Monterey Car Week. Its nice to enjoy the cars with friends after all the work I put in on em.
We are coming back - 4 of 4! Engine rebuild project for the Claret SVX is nearing completion! I hope this thing runs half as good as it looks.

My relationship with "Mom's Car" is coming to a close. Reconditioning it helped me heal. Selling it helps me clear some of Mom's last expenses. Some wonderful folks 'in the family' were the first to look this morning and they loved it immediately. It leaves tomorrow. I am relieved.

Workshop weekend: found the leak, helped a friend, and took the good car for a drive :)
Workshop Update: SVX B's engine is now apart and ready to be whisked off to the machine shop for cleaning and resurfacing. SVX A's dashboard is nearly out for the heater core replacement.

I love this silly thing 08 LR3 4.4 V8. I've put just about 50000 miles in it over the last four years and many adventures. Hoping for many more.
shifting gears from car projects for tonight: I was reunited with the frame of my BMX bike during my stay in New Jersey in November. I repainted and rebuilt it with many found & secondhand parts. Rode it tonight for the first time in 20 years. Wow.
