My poem Wildfire came out in Nightingale & Sparrow’s Bonfire issue today. I wrote it during the period when wildfire smoke covered Ottawa, and shortly after the fire in my building. I was inspired by the fire in Parable of the Sower and Kim Stanley Robinson’s The Ministry for the Future.
