Why yes, the $5 EastWest Shuttle across the lakefront to Ookwimin Minising *was* lovely, thank you. What a great service. I just wish it would remain $5. $15 is a bit steep.
Unless you sit on the rocks under the bridge, or find this sole parkette on the outer edge by the road, where all the dump trucks thunder by. Truly weird planning for staying in the park.
Gorgeous night at Dominico Field, watching the Maple Leafs almost grab the lead over Welland. Pooched bases loaded, twice. Amazing crowd of a wild range of friendly ppl, kids running around having a blast. Toronto does have some nice things.
And receiving a gift from a local artisan and friend is the best farewell. (Check out Myth&Wild in Malta for gorgeous items; seriously, look at this presentation)
While I'm all for adding new housing, it hurts my heart when old growth trees are cut down. College Street development near UofT.
It's literally impossible to avoid ai slop. Trying to find some psych info, and this graphic is in the article text to explain DARVO (coercive manipulation tactic). 50% of this is made up 'words'. Who tf approves these postings? This is on the Harbor Psychiatry and Mental Health site.
"Ethics" has no meaning anymore. Got this in my news feed: a headline with an accompanying "photo BY CHATGPT". From a magazine that touts "ethical living".
Toronto doing its best to put people in harm's way. This is at the corner of Crawford and College. No one around, no trucks, signs, or workers. Just a giant hole right in the bike lane. That cone is going to get crushed any minute now. #topoli @thebikinglawyer.bsky.social
My favourite tree in High Park being a stunner in the melancholy of fog this morning.
Tl cleanse: A lovely little treat was left on the massive log that has fallen over one of the paths in High Park (I'm so happy the park has decided not to chop this log into bits). Go find it!
I will never not be disappointed in the crappy photoshop of modern film posters.
I did a thing. Hear me on Jules Smith's podcast Fearless Practice chat about how I got into the field of sex therapy. On Apple Podcasts (please comment so Jules can get those nice numbers up because they're a nice person) or wherever you get your listening freak on.
Am absolutely in love with this concept art for the animated version of André Alexis' 15 Dogs; if not especially bc the 506 is my route. The article sadly does not reference the illustrator (please please please don't be ai) variety.com/wp-content/u...
Saw this photo in a local paper mentioning a new restaurant and I didn't read any further because I'm too distracted by the grip on this fork. I just can't trust any image anymore to look human.
I always make sure to make it out at least a couple times a summer to the Toronto Islands for a bike adventure. This photo was taken outside the local Airstream café. All of the bikes of every flavour!
Got incessantly mocked in the park by a group of teen boys for taking pics of the gorgeous trees.
