Just because it's only me and the dog (Tigger) at the moment, doesn't mean we can't dine out.

An aged wooden picnic table and bench with plate, cutlery etc, together with red wine and condiments. A barbecue id warming up nearby. The setting is a fenced grass area, with a few fruit trees.

Blimey, there's not much variation there. Looks like early morning dog walks only for the next few days.

Phew, it's getting warmer! Lots of water and shady rest stops this afternoon. We're going to have to revert to early morning walks for a few days from tomorrow in order to beat the heat.

He is pretty tall, weighs around 36kg. When I rehomed him, he was called 'Moses' which was way too biblical for me. He's a bouncy bouncy boy, and a bit stripey, hence now called Tigger

Roll-on 22° Sunday!

Met Office forecast for Escot, showing today at 35°, with an Amber alert for Extreme Heat, and Yellow warning for Thunderstorm. It remains hot until Sunday 28th June, when the maximum temperature will be a balmy 22°.

THE government confirmed today that, despite being left off the initial list, Bluesky would be included in the social media sites banned for under 16s.

It's pretty poor that Wales was excluded when the red warning covers there as well. I only checked Cardiff, and that's extreme!
