Two flowers of one of two native Irises - the other being Yellow Flag. It is pale blue and like a painting. The poet writes of the Wild Iris:

Orange flower sometimes called Devils paintbrush. The poet named write a book by same name. Quite is from her poem called Lady Liberty: “ Hot.
