Rep. Frank Pallone
@pallone
NJ06 Congressman. Top Dem on the House Energy and Commerce Committee. Fighting to lower Rx costs, protect our shore, and hold corporate polluters accountable. Long Branch born and bred. Fill out my survey:
Republicans say Americans are concerned about data centers because they’re influenced by foreign propaganda, but they couldn't be more wrong. Just ask the more than two dozen communities in NJ that have taken action to stop them!
If the Trump Admin enacts this rule, communities will be denied the chance to voice opposition to data center construction in their own backyards. It’s outrageous. Trump is willing to silence dissent if it continues to help his Big Tech buddies. It should be rejected.
This is the second time this week an ICE agent roaming our streets has murdered someone with no accountability and no body camera footage.
This is reminiscent of the KKK marches a century ago. This is not what America is about, and we can’t allow our country to return to its racist past.
Happy 250th Independence Day. I believe in America’s promise, and I’m proud to celebrate a quarter millennium of its founding today.
Data centers are harming our nation’s air, water, and power bills. That’s why we need a national moratorium on new data center construction.
Esther’s tax refund was stalled because of an identity theft declaration issue on her account. After my office stepped in, the IRS removed the flag, updated the account, and finally released her refund.
We found Trump's birthday wishlist. Spoiler alert: @houserepublicans.bsky.social have been all too happy to check every item off it.
This is a dangerous consolidation of power to Paramount Skydance CEO David Ellison who constantly bends the knee to Trump. Ellison has positioned his growing media empire to serve Trump, including his ongoing destruction of CBS News. With this merger, he would now control CNN too.
Asbury Park has hosted New Jersey’s most prominent Pride celebration for over thirty years in honor of the pioneers of America’s LGBTQ+ rights movement. This fight hasn’t stopped.
Happy Pride, New Jersey! It was a great privilege to be here at Jersey Pride in Asbury Park to celebrate with our vibrant LGBTQ+ community.
The dam is breaking. Americans don’t want Trump’s illegal, unconstitutional war, and keeping the pressure on @houserepublicans.bsky.social finally worked. The House, the Senate, and the American people have spoken. Trump must follow the constitution and end this war IMMEDIATELY.
Extremists in the Republican Party have gone completely off the rails. While I'm glad the backlash against Rep. Ogles has been swift, the culture of bigotry that made his tweet possible must be rooted out at its source. Hatred has no place in America. Happy Pride. I fixed your tweet for you.
I’m back at Delaney Hall with @repanalilia.bsky.social, and we were able to confirm the horrible conditions detainees described to us in our previous oversight visits. However, we also verified the release of some of this facility’s most medically vulnerable detainees and saw improvements.
Happy Pride, New Jersey! I’m proud to stand and celebrate Pride Month with the robust and vibrant LGBTQ+ community in my district. I am determined to fight for the progress America has made to support our LGBTQ+ neighbors. We are never going back.
Trump’s DHS is LYING to Americans about what’s happening inside Delaney Hall. I saw what was going on with my own two eyes—this facility needs to be closed down.
🚨I’m back at Delaney Hall, where I just heard EYEWITNESS ACCOUNTS from detainees. My concern is that hunger strikers are being retaliated against, all because they were advocating for better food, access to basic medical care, and judicial hearings.
Let’s cut through the noise from Trump’s DHS. Here’s what I saw on the ground at Delaney Hall:
I just visited Delaney Hall with my colleagues @repnellie.bsky.social and @kim.senate.gov, and it’s crystal clear to me there’s only one option now. CLOSE DELANEY HALL, NOW. The conditions here are absolutely unacceptable. These detention centers have no place anywhere in our state or our country.
With the World Cup just 35 days away, FIFA is jacking up prices, creating artificial scarcity, and hitting fans with huge resale fees while tickets mysteriously keep reappearing after matches are called “sold out.”
Following my call for a coordinated state-federal investigation of a potential cancer cluster in Keyport, New Jersey officials are launching new, comprehensive testing of the soil and groundwater to determine whether contamination has spread and if there’s any risk to residents.
Today I pressed EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin for a clear commitment to address the suspected cancer cluster in Keyport, NJ. More than 40 cancer cases, including 28 on a single street, demand action. The community deserves answers, accountability, and a full federal response. Watch:
I am demanding an urgent state and federal investigation into a suspected cancer cluster in Keyport, where more than 40 cases, including 28 on one street, have been identified near a toxic landfill that was never properly closed.
What the heck is the K-Shaped Economy and how is Trump making it worse? Let's talk about it.
I asked my guest what he wants to hear at the State of the Union tonight, and he said: “when do we go back to work?”
When Trump froze funds for the Gateway Tunnel project, 1,000 workers lost paychecks overnight. Why would he do something so foolish, you ask? To get his name on Penn Station. Really.
What I saw at Delaney Hall today disgusted me. Liberty is a New Jersey value—it’s in our motto. Trump’s ICE is trampling on liberty by unjustly detaining our neighbors in this inhumane facility. This is not who we are as a state or as a country.
ICE wants to hold human beings in conditions designed for STORAGE. Not in our state. My colleagues and I just launched an initiative to oppose the Trump Administration's plan to treat people like cargo. Join our initiative: pallone.house.gov/stop-ice-warehouse.
While Democrats worked to restore access and lower health care costs, Donald Trump and Congressional Republicans spent the entirety of last year making health care unaffordable and inaccessible for MILLIONS of Americans. This is a REPUBLICAN health care crisis.
