All Cats Are Beautiful
Oh god, Tal! This is maybe the most ignorant thing I've ever read. This is EXACTLY how you end up catching EELS! You know, eels: Nobody wants to get eels!
Alternate take: the USA needs 100 less Senators, 50 less governors and state legislators, and a new constitution. It's almost bedtime. I'm allowed to dream... Kitten pic added so as not to be a total bummer:
I've had other cats who were like this, but my current (11-yo, inherited in Nov) boy is pretty chill about pets and attention. He's a cuddly boy who loves skritches, but only sounds off when he wants food. ...and after he uses the litter box. He loves to give a full minute-long report. For real.
My friend Julio and I both wish a very happy birthday to Ben Onion, and hello to Heater and his mom.
I mean, this probably already qualifies, but it could probably add some more homophobia and Mr. T content to truly capture her vibe: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steak_a...
My sweetest little boy, Frank - who never weighed more than 5lbs in his too-short 14 years - loved to curl up between my knees, under the covers at bedtime. I would usually wake up my legs unintentionally splayed, and him stretched out between them in a similar max-spread-pose.
No, that's incorrect. Flapjack is a dang ass hound what don't chase of 'possums, raccoons and such for shit. Just a lazy ole lump of a dog.
Since I posted that photo previously (don't have a lot of photos on this computer) I grabbed a later one from my phone. This is my sweet home office companion from April 2020. He was 13 in this photo and weighed around 5lbs. Always a tiny boy.
My dear departed boy Frank would only eat a specific brand of fancy dry cat food. No wet food, no people food. "If it don't have that crunch, I don't want it for my lunch". ...is what I imagined him saying.
Does it count if it's a historically inaccurate, "white" Jesus who looks like he comes from pre-Roman Scandinavia? ...or is that the point? "Josh" probably looked something like Riz Ahmed. Handsome and charismatic (he made a big impression in a short period) but distinctly from SE Mediterranean.
@daniellie.bsky.social I found this thing. I think it's a Labubu, but maybe it's a Pokemon? Plz avise...
He also toured the country for a minute, racing a stock car with a loveable band of moppets (including Diane Lane and Anthony Michael Hall) as his pit crew. Despite appearances, I am assured that they didn't all share a bed.
