I assure you, I have a pretty good idea of what it takes to make a HAUNTED HOUSE OF PANCAKES.
The rumors are true, I bought a new chair yesterday. It is reasonably comfortable. I will not be answering any further questions at this time.
Do it! Working with a set full of ridiculous puppets is the best. One of my favorite days on set of Haunted House of Pancakes was when we got to pelt our actors with foam pancakes and waffles.
To be clear, I did (and still do think) that it'd be fun to make a movie about the horrors that a possessed waffle maker could unleash in a diner on Halloween night. I suppose nonsense is in the eye of the beholder (and also an apt description of my movie). HAUNTED HOUSE OF PANCAKES now on Tubi!

Last night Haunted House of Pancakes had its west coast premiere on an IMAX screen. It was incredible! Everyone seemed to love it and we walked away with awards for Best Feature, Best Director, Best Screenplay, and Best Supporting Actress. Not to bad for my first feature.
As expected, Vines knocked the socks off the audience at the Sactown Movie Buffs Film Festival last night! And just as awesome was getting to finally meet @lukezwan.com in person.
What, no mention of the deep sociopolitical and economic issues explored? Much like a demonic stack of pancakes, this movie has layers. But I guess if you're coming for the bonkers Haunted House of Pancakes delivers.
What a fantastic world premiere weekend for Haunted House of Pancakes at HorrorHound! Our little food demons certainly chewed their way into the hearts of the festival attendees. Played to a packed and enthusiastic screening room, then walked away with the audience choice award for best kill!
