This sort of thing really annoys me. In this case not specifically another ISP digging at 0730 on a Bank Holiday Saturday morning, but the misuse of the word 'Advanced'. It should be Advance warning; advanced notice would be if they put up a laser-display-board with a full animatronic show...
What on earth is going on with the content BBC News publishes nowadays? Quite often there's just the... wrong word used. Is it all autogenerated? Does nobody proof it? See this ridiculous example of a 'leavening present'!
I parked in the Salford Quays/Outlet car park yesterday (now run by Your Parking Space). Let's just say that their 'car park walkway' crossing to a pedestrian exit is unsafe and nonsensical... How is this acceptable? What if you have access needs - are you supposed to vault the crash barrier?
And while I'm here, I asked for a better map and got this. It gets worse and worse. Typos, two Ardwicks, stations in the wrong places... roads and waterways in the wrong places...
ETA because I have access to Copilot from work, I asked it: "create a map of the city of manchester, labelling major areas" and this is what it gave me. It's terrible. At a glance it's OK, but spellings are wrong, and the routes and waterways are just not right. It's got the gist, but is useless.
This sort of thing always baffles me. Why padlock a gate at the end of a platform (Manchester Metrolink in this instance) when you can just walk round it?

On mobile, the adverts seem disproportionately large on the page and indistinguishable at points from content (eg is the pdf download content or an advert? (I know the answer!)). The map seems good; can there be an option to go full screen? The subheadings seem a bit big. (First impressions)

Fed up with the lack of literacy and proofing in comms from companies. This is from @airtimerewards.bsky.social who have published this with a homonym. Argh! Reading error-laden text is like driving on a road with speed bumps and is unprofessional.

I've tried a couple of times to edit my local library name on Google Maps to a correctly spelled version! It currently says 'Failsworth Libary' which is embarrassing. Anyway, it keeps getting rejected. Is this autorejection or is someone being malicious? How can I get the spelling updated?
This is amazing. This uniform mockup for Great British Railways is AI - which you can tell, because even in the brand announcement pack, the AI has cocked up the 'British Rail' twin track logo on the train in the background. (Also, the uniform is terrible, IMO.)
