@protanope
Ok, maybe I'd prefer to.
oooh…10am?! wow. annoying post. why are he & Athul feeling need to say how much $ they make (or did/could make), while claiming moral high-ground? we all have reading comprehension & see the larger point of the article. yet they feel hit & howl. “we could outsource more childcare”? obnoxious.
eh this is slop. i mean, i would hope this is true, but why are you quoting a noted liar and slop account? complete epistemic breakdown.
well that solves it Mike no longer student, Mike now master no specifics, no references nothing needed but Mike and Mike perpetual
sorry do to this but @judgejohnhodgman.bsky.social please revisit earlier comments for listeners regarding Platner & consider what it means that person like him got yr attention & praise i know MaxFun doesn’t wade into political waters but u did ask listeners to check out Platner quite explicitly
Worse, to media reporters like Benjamin Mullin and Lauren Hirsch, in fact, they think that Zaslav is “getting the last laugh”
ah yes, hard to believe anyone would want control of government or ability to set agendas for the country, based off of populist anger… yeah that’s crazy
Please post details so people know where to source this. Here’s one: Dataset 9, id EFTA01230639; per Jmail
After catching blocks today, have no desire for another, so I guess this is going to be a screenshot & comment… but, like, what’s the point of saying things like this. This is not even micro-blogging, it’s just saying “YERP! YERP!” or “BLECH! BLECH!”
Well hm. @davidallengreen.bsky.social ‘assays’ (tries) a couple thoughts after a post that’s alarmed abt what it might mean LLM companies r going to undercut the entire pedagogical system… & ends up blaming students who might not already be as in love with Montaigne as adult writers; so odd
so I may be mainly a reply-guy on here, but have to honestly ask with some concern for philosophy Bluesky… what (if anything) is the problem in replying like this, to catch a block? (AITA?). Because this seems like a philosopher really misunderstanding LLM tokenization, and being overbearing.
that is generally going to be around 51-52 because the LLM, from context, is determining that it needs to scope each next token for each next one-letter input & newline entry that is being entered. in that scenario, a well-trained LLM determines that. compare “this code looks a bit fragiguous”
weird that the preview photo is of cats. are the authors trying to test competence of readers too?
I guess this is Bluesky now. Which is probably 600% better than X, and also better than other alternatives at the moment. But is this what we’re wanting Friday before Valentine’s? Not shit-fun hell posting?
Piggy love can be cultish — Jacobson regularly meets fans whose dream is to be on the receiving end of her signature move. “It’s a delightful thing to see a room full of people, from news reporters to A-list celebrities, get in line to be karate-chopped by a pig,” he said.
