I really can't be bothered painting the walls here yet, but I have at least bought blinds with flowers on them and got a load of plastic plants on top of the bookcase.

I'm not really a beach person but I keep going to beaches.

I also met a little bird on my afternoon walk yesterday.

I've introduced my cat to her new sisters.

The most important upgrade has been a small paddling pool for the seagull chick who lives outside my window. Unfortunately the other two didn't make it through the heatwave but I think I was able to save this one.

Just had some lovely metal miniatures from @heresyminiatures.com arrive in the post, can't wait to paint some of these up.

There is already pre painted injection mold terrain on the market (Dungeons & Lasers), the colour is applied to a sprue using UV. This looks like the same process. Definitely comes on a sprue, the pictures of the sprue leaked.

I have a visitor

I really like it for use on the desk because it's a lot shallower than the nail polish racks, although you can't beat those for the sheer volume of paint they hold so I have a bunch of those above head level.

It's looking good. Have you considered... little hats for the paints? It sounds daft and takes ages, but I've found it really useful.

I also really like this bard because I think the ludicrous orange coat worked out quite well. I wish I was able to reliably paint eyes though, I just don't have the control to do that.

I should also share this duck I painted, because I love it.

A couple of other older paintjobs I did as test models that just sit on my shelf now. I can't even remember what I was testing with these guys. The fire dragon works OK but I think just a little more effort could have made it really pop. The yellow gems in particular have been done badly.

A set of Warhammer skellingtons I painted a whole ago to see if I liked using Vallejo Model Air paints by brush. They were pretty nice paints but I preferred other ranges.

I've filled in some of the white space on my endless staircase with posters.

Something like 80% of the relatives who I can trace seem to have lived entirely within this blue circle - I'm honestly surprised at how little movement there was.

I followed this up by going to Elizabethan town house with amazing ceilings.

I woke up early and needed to kill some time before midday so I went to the nearest castle. Highly recommend, it was full of birds.
