Posted and wrote about the latest Memento Mori KS Commission over at www.patreon.com/shinercomics..., this time the commissioner as Barbarella with her cats. Super fun to draw.
THIS SUNDAY. Release Party/Local Pick-Up (for kickstarter backers) for my new esoteric autobio comic, Momento Mori, at Superscript Comics and Games! Come hang out and look at these pages. I'll also have a portfolio of select OGs up for grabs with Probability Pricing- Let the DICE set the PRICE.
Pin-up I drew for @studiobeancan.bsky.social's Cloud Town: Friends in Stormy Weather Vol. 2! Kickstarter launches today! Check it out: www.kickstarter.com/projects/stu...
Illutration for Signal Cleveland's Sauasge Culture coverage this summer, check it out: signalcleveland.org/help-us-buil... Posted some roughs and commentary here, FREE, you can just go look at it, I love you: www.patreon.com/shinercomics...
Here’s another from last nights New Spicy Frankenstein Work patreon post, holler if you want a free subscription link, I’ll give em out like it’s Christmas in June.
I should be doing real jobby jobs but I posted more Spicy Frankenstens over on patreon.com/shinercomics last night.
Another piece from the New Spicy Frankenstein Work post on Patreon.com/shinercomics after dark last night.
Posted some Spicy Frankenstein sketches over at patreon.com/shinercomics for the night time crowd.
Finished what I was up to early so I threw some ink on this post-apocalyptic warrior babe rough I had kicking around... dropped the original over at shinercomics.net/store!
Posted some more of the Memento Mori kickstarter commissions over at patreon.com/shinercomics. Free/public post, old school blog type shit.
Poster for Cleveland’s Lottery League Big Show 2026 on June 27th. 44 new bands formed all at once, by lottery, and now they’re all playing a show together.
A couple more MM KS commissions, only these are spicy Frankensteins for the real ones… wrote a little about em on the Patreeon: www.patreon.com/posts/160179...
Posted some of the Memento Mori kickstarter commissions I've been doing over on patreon, this one's free/public: www.patreon.com/posts/mm-ks-...
Posted the Memento Mori sketchbook zine over at www.patreon.com/shinercomics. It’s behind the paywall but holler and I’ll send a gift sub link if you’re interested.
Poster I designed for Where Shit Happened, the Speak in Tongues book release events. Speak in Tongues was a crazy DIY space in Cleveland from 1994 - 2001 and this book is an incredible document of what it was. I wrote a little about my process for this here: www.patreon.com/posts/159038...
It's May 13th. I've been paralyzed for 31 years today. Customary self-portrait.
Cleveland! I'm doing a Character Design Workshop on Saturday for FCBD at Superscript in Lakewood! Come draw with us!
Cleveland! I’ll be drawing from 6:30 - 7:30 tonight at Spaces Gallery’s Monster Drawing Rally with dozens of rad artists. This event always gets chaotic and fun as hell.
Digging through some old files and thought I'd share some old Melt posters I feel have different comic book cover qualities. The Firecracker Chicken was always superhero parody/homage. We never used the Smokey Russian poster because Russia invaded Ukraine so we switched it to "Turkey Reuben".
I give, I love Superman too. Not at all sure when I drew this but I’m sure it was for some Cleveland thing.
Quick mermaid drawing I threw some colors on: www.patreon.com/posts/155694...
My cat Chalita passed a week ago. Just put up a public post of bunch of a drawings I did of her over the years at www.patreon.com/posts/chalit...
I made this comic for Signal Cleveland about how to plant a tree. Cleveland is trying to boost the tree canopy and the Western Reserve Land Conservancy will hook you up with a tree but it turns out there's proper ways to plant them if you want them to survive. signalcleveland.org/how-to-plant...
I was def trying to "pay homage" to this devastating banger of a Jim Lee cover when I drew this. They should fuck with comics logos more.
Free/Public post about the FCBD Poster for Superscript Comics and Games that I drew over on Patreon: www.patreon.com/posts/fcbd-2...
Pages drawn at @natepowell.bsky.social's Artist in the Atrium event at the Cleveland Museum of Art on Saturday. He had these sheets with panels ready to go. Drawing Spider-Man is a blast! But I think I'm maybe more suited to this other kind of comic that potentially makes no sense.
Threw this old one pager in with the newer work I'm reading for this presentation I'm doing tonight at the Willoughby Public Library.
