Something that makes me itchy about some #UU folks...there's so much conflict avoidance that at #UUAGA we had to rename our "con" line to "concern" because we couldn't just let the things be the things... Like, sure, sometimes I'm concerned, but also sometimes I need a Ten Toes Down line!

Like I always assumed they were short for other words but just realized I dont know what words they are". MW responds, "'Pro' isnt short for anything, but comes from the Latin preposition 'pro' meaning 'for.' 'Con' traces back to the Latin 'contrā,' meaning "opposite, against."

You've just decided that the housing provided should be super-expensive, should suck, and their lives should be miserable while they receive that housing and food. Which says a lot less about homeless people than that you are a sick.

Made myself some lunch while watching the soccer game from home that I was supposed to be watching from the stadium. My usual-brown rice with some protein/veggies. Grabbed the wrong gawtdam bottle from the fridge and drowned my bowl in Roy's Sister Sheree sauce instead of soy sauce. No mames. 😫

Forgot to post last night after returning to wifi after the last walkie of the night with the pup.... The moon was on her "I may be just a sliver, but I'm still bright" shit. I appreciated the sentiment.
