I saw it next to a patch of ginseng on Tennessee’s Western Highland Rim once. Striking when fruit is on.

Kramer, Elaine, George, and Jerry (from the tv show Seinfeld) gather around a newspaper in a small apartment. Kramer points at a newspaper and says “Doll’s eyes, baby.” In the actual scene in the episode, The Bris, he says “Pigman, baby.”

After Midnight (2019) may not be ~deeply~ romantic… but I remember watching and thinking it is a Valentines Day horror flick. Really good - especially if you are into the Benson-Moorhead-verse. Wikipedia calls it a “romantic monster film.”

Since my last airport trip last fall, the 18 Airport bus pickup has moved upstairs to Bay 4 at WeGo Central. Glad I was a little early as I was wandering around downstairs for a few minutes before I recognized.

A section of the Wikipedia page for St. Bees (a coastal town in England) called “St Bees Man”: “In 1981 an archaeological excavation at the priory revealed a vault with a lead coffin containing an astonishingly well preserved body – now known as the St Bees Man. He has been identified as Anthony de Lucy,[14] a knight, who died in 1368 in the Teutonic Crusades in Lithuania. Although the body was over six hundred years old, his nails, skin and stomach contents were found to be in near-perfect condition.[15] After his death the vault was enlarged to take the body of his sister, Maud de Lucy, who died in 1398. Got in with a bonus tenner for PTKU before the buzzer. I read the last few paragraphs of “How We Got Here” to my wife during dinner (not the first time, but she listens anyway) and I felt it as much as ever. This is a beautiful place and a beautiful thing. Thank you for connecting us to NAP.

#tspotter Lots of branches down and more falling in Bellevue. Saw some pines dropping all their branches. Big elm branch down in the front yard and entire trees down elsewhere. Be careful going out, don’t walk under trees if you can help it. Keep your head on a swivel and take care of each other.

Great thread! Two things that might be of interest - (1) if Metro finishes the greenway connection at the soccer fields on Coley Davis (behind HD at the Ariza development), which really just needs to traverse the RR somehow, then you could cut off most of the route with a very nice bikeway.

I’m not capturing the exact time period that I traveled, but looking right now… an Uber would have been around $30 one way and - as I experienced when I tried to run this errand over the weekend - driving your own car and leaving it in the BNA garage for one hour cost $20 itself.

Any BNA employees on here know the ins and outs of this route? I misspoke calling the first leg of my journey the “Express” route as the many stops and timetable clarify… The non-stop service only runs in the evenings and maybe(?) only TO DOWNTOWN. Map and timetable below.

Transit App trip summary says 9.3 miles and 33 minutes on the 12:15 bus. I didn’t get the app up until we were pulling out of the station so it might be more like 10 miles and 35 minutes for that one.

The Bus Station at BNA is on the backside of the ground floor ground transportation, right alongside the hotel transport, Uber, Lyft, etc. it has a nice bench and is away from most of the hustle and bustle.
