The kinds of push notifications you get in 2026, the ones that only phase you because you realize that they should probably phase you in a typical timeline but you’re in this one and done being phased for a while.
I pretty much only trust the narratives from the NWS (which I view on Weather Mate) and my own eyes with the RadarScope app. You can also change the source on Weather Mate so I check a few to see what they all say. If I lived more rural I’d trust more aggregation but we’re so close to the local NOAA
Spent last night thinking and learning about housing and homelessness from @jerusalem.bsky.social, saw a headline this morning about a 55% increase in homelessness in ABQ since 2007 per the latest PIT counts, and then I get this notification this morning. And there just aren’t fucking words.
