I'm latecomer to Doctor Who, so imagine my surprise when The Doctor rigged up the TARDIS's new "Time-Space Visualiser", and I discovered that the series had done "Interdimensional Cable" nearly half a century before Rick and Morty did!

I have zero proof that Andrew Lloyd Webber ever watched a single second of Doctor Who. But man, with the way these anthropomorphic bee guys from an early episode of the BBC series look, sound, and act, I could swear they were a precursor to the musical felines from CATS.

The BBC's "I, Claudius" mini-series ends just before Emperor Nero ascends to the throne. So given that the two shows were produced by the same studio, I'm taking Doctor Who's wild and raucous run-in with Nero as the canonical follow-up to Claudius' misadventures on The Beeb.

She wasn't my favorite member of the original quartet, but her evolving dynamic with her grandfather was the best part of character's growth, and I like the idea of him appreciating her need to put down roots

My new favorite crack ship is Susan B. Anthony and Buffalo Bill Cody, who had a memorable (low key sweet) interaction at Chicago's Columbian Exposition in 1893! (h/t to Patricia Morse for the summary)

A passage that reads: "As the Board of Lady Managers debated about their response to the issue of Sundays at the fair, Anthony, who was not a manager, was cornered by an angry clergyman, who demanded to know where she stood. According to Shaw, this was the result:

"If I had charge of a young man in Chicago at this time," she told the clergyman, "I would much rather have him locked inside the Fair grounds on Sunday or any other day than have him going about on the outside."

The clergyman was horrified. "Would you like to have a son of yours go to Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show on Sunday?" he demanded.

"Of course I would," admitted Miss Anthony. "In fact, I think he would learn more there than from the sermons preached in some churches."

When William Cody heard about the encounter, he wrote her a note and invited her to the Wild West Show. When she showed up with her squad, they got box seats. When Buffalo Bill rode into the arena on his gleaming white horse with the spotlight shining on him, he rode to the box seats, rose in his stirrups, swept off his hat, and made a sweeping box. Anthony in turn, rose to her feet, bowed, and waved her handkerchief to the roar of the crowd."

Season 2 of the Netflix Punisher show was a marked step down from the season 1, but Agent Madani improved a lot between seasons. The character was pretty dull in s1, but the writers found compelling new places to take her in s2, and Amber Rose Revah leveled up her performance to match.
