It might be said that the 4 protagonist POVs in BUG are also each other's antagonists. Not that any of them are binary heroes or villains, it's more like they each have their own idea of how to proceed, and it may impede the others' progress.

Here's a happy AU!Val with a dog :D Otherwise, silly, hmm... More silly Val facts: he likes sweet tea and desserts. Whenever he's not in immediate danger, he does get a bit goofy, and he often deflects with jokes. Wouldn't be a good driver, but would be fascinated with cars. Likes puns.

The bugs my characters can see and hear are the least of their problems. There are bugs within. There are bugs without, beyond comprehension. Everything is a bug if you have enough insight (and one of the MCs knows it; they're the most honest and terrified of all).

BUGS 📣🪲 Canleir is a black widow spider, feared and respected at a glance. Venom and antivenom are both very important in his side of the plot. Myrk is a centipede. Fierce and resilient, her armor might as well be part of her. She's versatile and represents power in motion.

The other proper party is, of course, Bug! Aka my favorite case of 1 Tank and her 3 Supports. It's both balanced and not, in that they each have specific skills. One is an actual doctor and alchemist, another is an enchanter, and a third a cleric. They can all to some extent heal, protect, and boost

Only two of my books have proper "parties" instead of scattered solos and duos. The ABYSS trio is, at first glance, insanely unbalanced with a fighter, a wizard, and a wizard-rogue. No tank, no healer, just raw damage output. They know it. They use speed and stealth to their advantage if they can.

I took it once and was perfectly tied between Ritsuko, Rei, and Kaworu, so the test didn't give me a little descriptive paragraph. Took it a second time making some of the responses a little more extreme to break the tie. Kaworu won! Test link: www.idrlabs.com/neon-genesis...
