This is simply not true, at least with regards to gay marriage. You are quite literally living in the past.

Republicans, especially, have done an about-face on the issue. In 2022, a majority of them — 55 percent — said same-sex marriages should be valid. That number now stands at 37 percent, back to levels last seen more than 10 years ago. The drop, according to Gallup, has been most stark among Republican men.

Oh sure, you teleport to Waffle House one time and suddenly CNN is calling you the "teleported to Waffle House" guy. As usual, the sensationalist media barely mentions his real crime: Appearing on podcasts.

CNN also previously reported that Phillips had a long record of inflammatory public statements before joining FEMA, including violent rhetoric directed at political opponents, repeated promotion of false election fraud claims, and comments warning that migrants were coming to kill Americans while urging podcast listeners to arm themselves.

Just my 2 cents but if you want to win an election, I would recommend not making your opponent look cool as hell. Try to avoid portraying them looking sick as fuck. That's not going to help.
