I'm 36 years late listening to this wonderful album, although I always loved the song 'Words' and their debut album, not sure why I overlooked it. Been listening to it all week constantly. 'Colour' is an incredible album and still stands up in 2026 , every song. 😎

Having a Roddy Frame / Aztec Camera evening. Absolutely one of the greatest ever songwriters, guitarists and vocalists & massive influence on me. 'The North Star' was an incredible solo album & one of my favourite albums ever. 'Knife' was my first Aztec album that I bought & the rest was history.

Learning to play guitar chords for a song I wrote called 'Difference' a year or two ago. Usually the song-writing dictates my guitar learning. The song with vocals and some extra production can be found on CD album 'HandiCrafts' by Armstrong - a Subjangle Records release. Track 17.

Currently playing 'Thrillington' by Percy 'Thrills' Thrillington - released April 1977 but recorded at same time in 1971 as album 'Ram' by Paul McCartney. (At Abbey Rd I think). A compilation of orchestral band arrangement versions of 'Ram' all under the guise of Paul McCartney & very good indeed.

Really enjoyed being at the FUN FAIR in Newport town centre over Christmas with my youngest son. He enjoys the 'scary' rides and well... ME?.... well... someone has to be on the ground and look after the shopping bags. You never know who is looking over your shoulder... right😊
