Another rewatch of ‘The Unnatural’: one of the best episodes of TV I have ever seen in my life and without a doubt my favourite episode of The X-Files. Peerless.

It has arrived! Given I now have the original trilogy on 4K, I think a rewatch of Night, Dawn and Day is in order!
A long awaited upgrade! It’s mad to say it is one of Miike’s best because how could I know: I can’t watch everything he puts out! But it certainly lives long in the memory.
I know it’s not Friday but it’s been a darn good 24 hours of film watching!

Found the deluxe edition by 88 Films on sale so had to pick it up. 88 MIGHT JUST be my favourite label right now. Never seen it but the concept is just my kind of batshit and Yuen Biao will surely do some mental stuff to keep me entertained.
Couldn’t resist but add some more to my order! That’s what’s great about VS sales, you can keep stacking! A handful of standard editions I’ve been holding out in case I found a decent deal for the slipcovers on resale sites. But I’ll grab them at some cheap prices
