As an update to this. Old monitor is toast. Crimped ribbon cable inside was the cause. Only fix is a new panel Got INSANELY lucky and bought this brand new Samsung G9 OLED (2023) for an absolute steal. Brand new in box for like 40% retail value. Retail in Canada 1299 on sale. Bought it for $550!
Rip. Samsung Odyssey G9 Neo Near dead center of the screen too. Going to try and open it up and see if I can resolve it but hopes are not high from what I'm reading.
