Common spotted-orchids are currently blooming in the downs I have to drive through to get to work~ I also heard a cuckoo while I was out looking at them! :D

I was basically begging her to take a bath but she wasn't having it. Ori and Kino bathed today and they're coping with the heat much better. :'3 We're a big fan of the cold stones though!

I don't know if I could pick one breed, it's probably a toss up between Valais Blacknose, Hebridean, Devon and Cornwall Longwool and Jacob sheep~ :D

Ordered a proper cage and platforms and stuff for my son~ There's an ag show nearby soon that has a pigeon contest. Kind of hoping there might be a chance to get him a lady friend. Poor Kino is third wheeling with the love birds right now. :'3

I'm also planting Mixed Grain Amaranth today. Much like the popcorn, amaranth requires heat to germinate well here, so both are going on heat mats. The seeds aren't as interesting as the others I've posted, so I've included a photo of the adult plants from the company I buy most of my seeds from.

Today, I'm planting these: Glass Gem Rainbow Popcorn! Hopefully we'll get some popcorn for ourselves and some fun treats for the chickens and pigeons~ I also chose these since they make really stunning cobs. :3

I'm planning out my seeds for planting over the next couple of years. These are Jacob's Cattle bush dry beans in two different shades. The original stock of this variety was developed by the Passamaquoddy people of Maine!

I forgot to mention here but I found this sweet girl at work sat on the floor, looking sad. She had a bad eye and was riddled with parasites, but we treated her and loaded her up with good food and vitamins. I let her go a couple of days ago and she went right back to her flock. c: #pigeonsky
