I went through a bit of a depressive episode after I got the flu, as I couldn't physically swallow my antidepressants for 2+ weeks. So I'm having a big reorganise in the greenhouse. More plants have survived and/or gone nuts than I'd hoped! X3

We've had Glover since she was very young! She fell out of her nest and I brought her home. We had to hand feed her for a long time before weaning her, so she got a lot of handling and attention. She realised very quickly she liked a scritch! c:

Pinecone mode #pigeonsky

My pigeon, Kino, perched on my knee (which is under a duvet). His feathers are lifted slightly, making him look somewhat like a pinecone, as he preens his feathers.

The same as before but his head has made an appearance.

The preening continues.

Bird rescue at the farm is not just limited to feral pigeons, it seems! Found this little guy stuck in deep slurry. He's perked up a lot over the past hour, luckily. He was very weak when I found him. 🐦‍⬛

Common spotted-orchids are currently blooming in the downs I have to drive through to get to work~ I also heard a cuckoo while I was out looking at them! :D

I don't know if I could pick one breed, it's probably a toss up between Valais Blacknose, Hebridean, Devon and Cornwall Longwool and Jacob sheep~ :D

Ordered a proper cage and platforms and stuff for my son~ There's an ag show nearby soon that has a pigeon contest. Kind of hoping there might be a chance to get him a lady friend. Poor Kino is third wheeling with the love birds right now. :'3
