Williams gobbles up the loose ball, but the referee rules the goal out for a foul on Otamendi by Merino! VAR are checking it, of course, but it looks like the decision will stand. A HUGE let off for Argentina!

In the *least* surprising news of the week, Pete Hegseth’s current church used to be a liquor store. (h/t @musicologyduck.bsky.social, whose feed you should check out for pictures from today.)

A boarded up two story brick building with a sign out front saying “LIQUOR.” Next door is a green awning with “Hunan Dynasty” written on it in English under Chinese characters I assume say the same thing.

Amazing find in Dorchester this morning & yet another argument for FIFA to award 3rd place to Cabo Verde. (Not pictured: the Vozinha bumper sticker also on the back window.)

I don’t have children, and it’s not Fathers Day, but I finally did the most dad thing since buying this house and power washed the back deck.
