Last day in Chania deserves a good hoppy pale. Hey Pale by Alea Brewing Co. Solid American style pale. Hops unknown but it's juicy with low bitterness.
As we get closer to the end of our Greek odyssey, I'm not quite settled on the best most widely available beer, but Mamos by Athenian Brewery is currently top of the table. Flavour profile is a bready malt, clean bitterness and a nice satisfying 5% body. Super quaffable 🍻

As far as wingos go, these are soft thanks to the 6 hour brining, crispy thanks to the super spicy baking powder/cornflour mix and slide off the bone. These will be tossed in buffalo and dipped in a zesty ranch. I am absolutely obsessed by them. #chickenwings #homecooking #obsessed

Africa Oye organisers have released more info about the festival which has paid entry for over 12s at £19. You'll also have to buy expensive booze (usually cans of Red Stripe). For many in the city, it has become unaffordable to attend which is a shame. Oye has always been a highlight 1/3

Plant advice required. My beloved pitcher plant is going bananas and its foliage is almost too long for the plant to support. It's also not producing any pitches although a couple of small flowers have appeared. Should I cut it back or leave it? Maybe a repot? Any advice would be appreciated

🥝 Tepache - 7 days 600g of ripe kiwis sliced into quarters 1 tbsp sugar dissolved into warm water mixed into a 2l Kilner. Fruit out on Tuesday and chill to drink. I used this method for my 🍍 Tepache and it was lovely, with nice fruit aroma, slightly sour, lactic on the nose 👌🏻 #fermentingfoodies

Richmond sausages contain 42% pork. They should be avoided at all costs, along with other low meat content bangers. The butcher will do you better quality sausages for a similar price. The marketing may claim they're Britain's favourite sausage but that really is a low bar.
