Spent the weekend studying and used a sketch from @blurthefur.com to practice lineart and shines. I didn’t really expect to go this far with the study but I just got really into it and I’m pretty proud of how it came out. I feel like this study helped a lot~

Oki last version for today. Just played around with the palate, trying to find a set of values that are varied and look nice while keeping the vibe of my colors. Pretty proud of how it turned out and learned a lot. Next to try to apply this to some level of rendering

Got a moment for quick tweaks to reflect on. Got the values there tho the colors feel both better and worse. Perhaps I should be also tweaked the values in the dragonite colors too or maybe find more shades in the same values to play with

Already on our way a bit but alas lunchtime is over

Now to start my lil color study and see if I can make my color scheme match the original values better
