I hit people with swords for fun. Captain and trainer for the Knights Of Munster, a proudly inclusive full contact medieval combat club. Part of the WarHamFam, rarely paint anymore, but will drool over your miniatures and talk lore.
Its Pride weekend here in Cork, in honour of that here is a video from last weekend of me getting pounded by 4 guys until I can't take it anymore, while a rainbow watches on. Source: www.instagram.com/my.medieval....
Fighting a tournament in Belgium this weekend in 30 degree heat, won a gold, a silver and a massive beer, so not a bad haul. Included a little section of a semi final against one of my own club members, got a nice head shot in at the end!
✋🛑STOP🛑✋ You are being BOOTED from the skyline! Reskeet with a photo of your 🥾👢BOOTS👢🥾 to continue scrolling. How could I not take advantage of an excuse to share these boots I got a couple of weeks ago?
Today marks 16 years since I had a stroke, caused by a bloodclot on the left base of my brain, it was an odd thing to happen to quite a healthy 22 year old, and I'm very glad that I recovered and have been able to do so many wonderful things, with my body and brain mostly working in harmony since.
An in-progress shot of my first attempt at making a medieval pouch, and my first attempt at embossing leather. Its finished now but I don't have any photos of it. It is all hand-stitched, and I even dyed the leather myself.
Got all Gothed up during the week for a gig (the phenomenal Creeper, if you like the idea of "Horny Dracula Music" you will love them), I didn't get any good photos while I was there, so had to recreate the look while at home, and took the opportunity to wear my new ridiculous heels.
A niche one: Desmond Castle in Newcastle West. Ireland, I used to work there as a guide, not the most impressive now, but it was built just to show off how rich the Fitzgeralds were, they had other castles for defence, this was for parties and had not one but two banqueting halls.
Still very much a beginner, but super proud to have managed to make this look okay at Pole last week.
Turns out the Blood Pact army I made years ago was a trend setter! great to see the SteG-4 and N22 halftrack finally get rolled out to the Imperial Guard. #warhammer #Warhammer40k #WarhammerCommunity
Thanks @snipethesorrow.bsky.social and @wib.bsky.social, now everyone in the gym knows I'm a bad ass. No one messes with a hard-core Fight Wepon fan.
Its sunny out, and that mean only one thing: thirst trap topless longsword practice in the garden with my stupid bane mask on for resistance.
I started doing pole dancing in January, this was 4 weeks into the course, so still suuuper new to it all, but I'm having such a blast doing it!
Week 4 of pole dancing classes, and, even though I messed up the first spin in this, I'm still having a lot of fun and sucking less every time!
Weird, I definitely posted this earlier and then it disappeared. Practicing speed in longsword a while ago, think I'm coming in at a bit of an angle here, I adjusted my form a bit and getting it much more consistently edge-on. Topless because I'm a slut.
People joke about how men are always supposed to be thinking about the Roman Empire, but what I am proposing is that all men, at all times, are up for watching Master and Commander.
Round one of my #longsword final last weekend at the Claregalway Castle Shield. That dude really wanted to cuddle, kept grabbing me and ended up getting a yellow card for it. Didn't do him much good though, still kicked his butt. 14 duels, 14 wins, 2 gold medals! #medieval #buhurt #swords
This handsome son of a bitch (me) will be fighting in a full contact medieval tournament this weekend in Claregalway Castle. You should all come, I don't care where on the planet you are, come watch. It's totally free so makes good financial sense!
And a bit of sparring from yesterday, I usually fight at distance and want to do things differently, so was working on going toe to toe, lots of fun but tiring!
A very fun weekend of #buhurt training to get competition ready for the #Claregalway Shield at the end of the month. The skipping in armour was just for funsies, but good to know I can.
Wanna see knights kick the shit out of each other? 80+ of them will be coming from around the world to fight it out in Claregalway Castle, Co. Galway on 27-28 September. This will be full contact, competitive fighting with world class competitors, and the best bit; it's totally free!
Some photos from Cork Pride last Sunday, such a fun day, very exhausting though, marching and fighting in the sun 🥵
A round from a fight over in Scotland a couple of weeks ago, up against Julian(in the black, maroon and white) from 1316 Medieval Fight Club, someone I'm always happy to lose to because he makes me work my absolute hardest and smartest, and I know he has to do the same
