I think that's true, but there are still a lot of awesome limitations that get lifted by better color science: - No more banding with gradients! - More detailed shadows! If you look at a scan of a Rembrandt on your phone while in front of one at a museum, you'll see that the dark areas IRL are
It's unrelated 😛. The number of colors a surface can *reflect* is limited by physics. But if you can emit light (like a screen or fluorescent paint) you can show new colors Tide was the 1st brand to use fluorescent paint (Day-Glo) in packaging. Everyone does it now, but it was unique at the time.

Subtle change in the new Bluesky update: I cold DMed one of the devs and said that furry artists are probably suffering because the adult content settings are buried a bit, and some people don't know they can turn off filters. I suggested changing"Moderation" to "Moderation and content filters"

I had no idea you were using Paint. That is insane. Windows 7 MS Paint support seems like it was at most *usable* a year ago, but probably not super pleasant. If you're willing to try Krita, it's in a league of its own when it comes to maturity, features, community, development activity, etc. But
