Trump’s illegal war in Iran is costing Americans here at home.

Wildfires are burning everywhere, from Canada to Colorado. This is a climate emergency. It shouldn’t take smoke covering D.C. to force Congress to take action. We need all hands on deck NOW.

Disaster relief should never be political. These are communities that are hurting and have been through the worst times of their lives. It’s so far below our shared American values and is unacceptable.

Remember when Trump said his illegal war with Iran would be over in just a few weeks? Well, it’s been 139 days and he still has no plan to get us out of it and bring down costs for you at home.

Our visit to the Aspen Acres burn site was just heartbreaking. Homes destroyed and lives turned upside down. Our eternal gratitude goes out to our first responders and emergency teams who are putting everything on the line to protect our neighbors and communities.

Trump’s economy and his illegal war with Iran are ballooning gas prices for Colorado families. A president who claims to put Americans first is doing the exact opposite.

Our communities need all the resources they can get to combat this devastating wildfire season. We saw this firsthand visiting Beulah. Trump’s cuts to the Forest Service and his politicization of FEMA funding puts the safety of Americans last.

This photo says what words can't. We saw firsthand the damage the Aspen Acres wildfire has had on Coloradans. Homes gone. Lives upended. Communities forever changed. We're fighting to make sure Colorado gets every resource and dollar it needs to rebuild and recover from these horrific disasters.

Our rural communities are the engines of our economy. Great to be in Walsenburg to hear more about what Washington can do to help small businesses and towns across Colorado.

We’re here with crews in Buena Vista who are fighting the Willow fire. We must do everything we can across every level of government to make sure these crews and communities have everything they need.

We won’t forget the bravery and sacrifice of the three firefighters lost battling the Snyder Fire. Our hearts are with them and the injured firefighters recovering now.
