It's easy to hire bikes there though - choice of 2 #BikeShare schemes 🙂 #DonkeyRepublic e-bikes⚡ or #VeloAntwerp standard cycles 💪 visit.antwerpen.be/en/cycle-wit...
Great to see so many people enjoying themselves at @transpridebrighton.bsky.social yesterday 🏳️⚧️ 🏳️🌈🙂. But let's remember this is not just a celebration of diversity & inclusion, it's a protest against all those who would deny our #Trans family & friends their freedom to be who they are ✊
After a packed 2 days at #2026TPM #Manchester it's off to #TransportPlanningSociety reception representing @transport-initiatives.com. Celebrating & promoting transport planning for thriving places - if you've travelled anywhere today, thank a transport planner 🙂
Waving from #2026TPM #Manchester 🙂. At @transport-initiatives.com we've done lots of #BikeShare planning before handing over for detailed design. We practice what we preach too!
Stocking up for ⚽ w a range of pales from #Independent #Brighton incl 2 from @azvexbrewing.bsky.social #Liverpool. Radioactive Worms or Frozen Turtles? 🍺🙂
Same problem here in #Brighton. Have tried showing people @mumsforlungs.bsky.social info www.mumsforlungs.org/our-campaign... but they generally go "but it smells lovely" 🤦
Not only am I well aware of that, I mentioned it at a @brighton-hove.gov.uk heritage working group meeting a few months ago, which disappointed the Mayor (who hadn't realised). To get the full story I recommend the son-et-lumiere event, with cello & interpretative dance. Très Français🤣
Had a great time there some years ago. Have all the yellow stripes gone? (They were to commemorate 20 years as a UNESCO World Heritage Site) #Carcassonne
& here there's Diego Coppola - not even a full season! Not really a bigger league or even club though...
It's coming home, it's coming home, it's coming home, #SantanderCycle 's coming home 🙂
So, a couple of weeks ago I found a #SantanderCycle abandoned in #Hove. I know it belongs to @mayoroflondon.bsky.social so I pumped up the flat tyres, cleaned it up, & took it to the finish of the London-Brighton ride 🙂 But its seaside holiday in #Brighton is now over...
Does seem to say that "Labour Toryism doesn't work". Which we're seeing in practice right now I suppose...
I must have had it at one point. Will check. Meanwhile I do have these...
PS if anyone else from ERCDT (or indeed NCS Board) is on here maybe we could get the band back together for a 25th anniversary reunion in Sept 2027 🙂
No, that'd be Victoria - 10 min from 🇵🇪 (embassy). But that'd be a different bear 🙂
They don't check their registration plates either, just taking the p*ss 😬
Didn't need AI to guess that would happen! Other Mark Strongs are available (not just me, there's my son's @plaidcymru.bsky.social councillor & at least one professor) 🤣
Just paid over a tenner for same in #Brighton (though croissant does have kimchi 🙂)
Indeed. Did that last week, but less of the lightweight motorway driving, more of your proper windy Welsh roads between the Severn crossing & #Aberystwyth. Good opportunity to see #Cymru 20mph in action (& be tailgated by a few numpties 🙄 ).
Grew up on the same road as John Lennon (a few decades later). If he can be a #WorkingClassHero so can I. PS this is his (or more specifically Aunt Mimi's) house, it's in posh Woolton - definitely *not* a working class part of Liverpool. He was middle class...
Trip down memory lane for me at @cycleislington.uk @londoncycling.bsky.social 50th birthday party (in room at Islington Museum where my wedding party was not quite so long ago). Of course I got here by #BikeShare (& 🚉). Here's to the future of #Cycling in London! 🚲 ❤️
Damn, I should have applied the Scotty principle and taken a day to reply 🤣
Just had a *very* quick look at figures. Overall around 16.9% of whole pop live in areas classified by ONS as 'rural' (down from 17.6% in 2011) For under 18s it's slightly less, around 16%, but also see assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/media/696637... though bands here incl under 20s.
