I love the skintight cargo pockets. If this were a comic, you'd get through many issues where they're never ever used, to the extent people think they're not pockets, and then the quivalent of this panel that sticks in my memory (not comparing it to Liefeld's pouches, just love this joke)

I forgot until it came in the mail that the vinyl I'd ordered off Bandcamp a while back for `Time? Astonishing!` had variant cover art, and I've realized this makes for the SECOND record in my collection with a Sci-Fi Guy who Likes To Watch on the cover

The woman, kissing him while facing left, is also in office attire (skirt suit). Her clothes are suited pinkish, curly hair is the brightest and most fluorescent pink in the image.

It's the famous V-J day black and white photo of the US Navy sailor kissing a nurse. Only, it has been edited such that the main character of the concept album, a time traveler, is standing right behind them watching them kiss from a close enough distance to be unsettling.

The time traveler is rather workmanlike, but also ominous: full-body environment suit that also looks a bit like coveralls, including a construction vest, gloves. He's wearing a ski mask but around it is the sort of kneck aparatus you see on a space suit to seal the helmet. Also has googles and what eems to be a head lamp? Oh, and knee pads.

at first it felt like not much more than the usual amount of DC fireworks, but the increasingly visible-to-the-naked-eye miasma accumulating soon changed my mind. so NOT 800,000 but he still got to stick it to the locals. the AM air quality was nuts (this is city average; my local censors hit ~375)

whenever white people deny this about identity politics, it reminds me of this old math joke

An engineer, a physicist, and a mathematician are shown a pasture with a herd of sheep, and told to put them inside the smallest possible amount of fence.

The engineer is first. He herds the sheep into a circle and then puts the fence around them, declaring, "A circle will use the least fence for a given area, so this is the best solution."

The physicist is next. She creates a circular fence of infinite radius around the sheep, and then draws the fence tight around the herd, declaring, "This will give the smallest circular fence around the herd."
