I rec'd a review code for Poetic Trio by Sometimes You for the Switch, and it's going to be hard to natively review since video recording is disabled, & I found out there are no checkpoints. My first 59 minutes will need to be replayed. Not a great start. #PoeticTrio #Keymailer #SometimesYou

After multiple attempts of finding the right tone and acknowledgements, I might finally have a final draft of my article for #HORSES by @santaragione.com ready to go up on Monday. It's taken a couple of months, but I'm happier than I've been with previous drafts.

Finally beat Donkey Kong Bananza today! Had The Squire demeaning me when I was dying, but cheering his big ol' heart out during these last couple of minutes. That battle was something else and a pain in the butt (3rd day attempting, but very satisfying there at the end. Video contains spoilers.

I'm currently playing a wonderfully cute marble maze indie puzzle game, "Game With Balls" by #GeertVerhoef on the Nintendo Switch 2. The method of control is the internal gyroscope & the HD rumble when the marble falls into holes. [Disc: I rec'd a review code from Keymailer] Article coming soon.

Just putting it out there, I don't think Robert De Niro gets enough credit for his portrayal and performance of The Creature in Mary Shelly's Frankenstein (1994).

If you e read the article, you'll know that there were orientation issues with the controls, so this was how I ended up having to "comfortably" hold the Quest 2 controllers to be able to play without twisting my wrists in a weird way.

Uh oh. Just found out that my computer and internet connection can run, somewhat decently, Resident Evil 2 Remake through Amazon's Luna game streaming service. They've come a way since I first tried the service back in 2020. #ResidentEvil2 #AmazonLuna #GameStreaming

Potentially Hot Take: I think I like Mega Man 3 more than Mega Man 2. I like the level design more, especially on the 2nd run through the stages. I like the boss battles more. The game introduces the characters Rush and Proto Man. While the OST isn't as iconic as Mega Man 2, it's still great.

Regarding the EA acquisition, I'm tempted to buy the Dead Space remake on Steam (and Dead Space 3 so I don't have to use EA's Origin) before the transaction close date of Q1 FY2027 b/c I don't want to give either PIF or Affinity Partners my money/user data. Am I thinking of this incorrectly?
