I’m absolutely obsessed with this GORGEOUS card @tappytoeclaws.bsky.social drew and sent with my sticker tier Patreon rewards for this month, so I needed to take the time and actually take a pretty photo to show it off properly. Joan of Arc is going into battle in my Ladies With Swords deck. 💙⚜️💙

Traveled from Rouen to Giverny to visit Monet’s house and the surrounding gardens. It was hot but peaceful, and the water lilies - while not entirely in bloom - did not disappoint.

Having breakfast at the hotel restaurant. There are pictures of Joan of Arc everywhere and the logo is even based on her signature that she traced. For me this is the equivalent of dining at a restaurant based on your favorite sports star or music artist. Crazy.

I’m in Rouen. This is the view from my hotel room. That’s the tower where Joan of Arc was after her capture, where she prepared for her trial. I am a stone’s throw away from one of the spots my favorite historical figure since childhood stood.
