Dad, sportsball, food, be a good human. Just want to say that when I send 💚💚💚 to anyone, what I mean is: “I see you, I love you, I’m glad you’re here, and BlueSky wouldn’t be the same without you, thank you for being in my life.
My sisters’ beautiful dog is being put down today. 14 is a good old age for a malamute. RIP Sakari, we love you, we’ll miss you. You were the goodest girl.
You’ve heard of Heffalumps and Woozles, but what about garlic shrimp and zoodles?
The barn was looking especially heavenly coming home today. Rural life is nice.
My eyebags have eyebags… I’m tired, grumpy, and sore. But I slept a little last night and showered today. That’s something.
Surgery day… by this evening, this monstrosity will be out of my arm and I’ll hopefully be on the path to being fully healed.
My son is a teenager today… happy Birthday Wallace. Can’t believe how fast you’re growing.
This was a butt-puckering road. Absolutely stunning though. Wallace loved and hated it. His grandpa thought it was AMAZING. Trying to make his 83rd birthday adventure a good one. We survived another day… I think that counts.
Stress does wonders to my diabetic body. I’m fine, it’s fine, everything is fine.
With everything going on with the house, I am just so damn irritable. Went for a drive to the bird refuge to try and clear my head but have to come back to a torn up house and fans so loud the travel trailer has become the primary sleeping place. I’m so over it.
Taking the weekend off and I finished mowing the field this morning. There is something so satisfying about working in the yard on a crisp spring morning. Grateful to have a few days off to reset. I need it.
Cooked burgers and dogs on the grill and burned some of my burn pile. Got the trailer out to get ready to sell and washed the suburban. All in all, a productive day.
Took Wallace to the train show in Ogden today… how is my kid getting so big?! 😭😭😭
