Many thanks, Fran! I think my under-the-breath oath muttering must have persuaded the Greater Burnet to behave, though it took a while! The Restharrow was close to the winterbourne, ‘upstream’ from the Tubular Water-dropwort. The plants were were in the form remarkably large shrubs! Quite amazing!
