Retired cop here: I absolutely hate this framing: "one of its officers experienced an accidental discharge of their rifle" HE WAS HOLDING THE RIFLE He wasn't some smol bean, innocently blamed for a rogue rifle. Something (his finger, maybe?) got inside the trigger guard HE'S RESPONSIBLE

Mr. Marow was my best cat-friend ever. One day, he wanted to sleep in the chair I was sitting in. When he couldn't get me to move, he walked over to the door and asked to be let out. No sooner did I get to the door than he ran back to the chair I had been sitting on. He passed at the age of 17
