"The Fever Crown." New illustration for @ceteramagazine.bsky.social to go with a short story about a world where fever can be sold like a drug. #art #procreate
tried something drastically different this week with my usual illustrations. I wanted to do a sort of oil pastel that's rough like chalk, mainly because I was trying to capture "West London" but pulled as far back as possible. Anyway, the short story I drew for this is coming out Thursday!
I have a new short story coming out in the next anthology from the wonderful folks over at @oddityprodigy.bsky.social! The kickstarter is already live, so please consider checking it out and backing some awesome new indie fantasy! www.kickstarter.com/projects/odd...
An hey if you happen to be in the bay you can go try the real place out 🙏
I hate to be that guy, but stuff like this makes it way too easy for me to believe that they fucked with the 2024 election
I grew up in a part of America (the south) where the constant refrain from bigots was that the Civil War was akkktually about state's rights
*record scratch* yep. that’s me. you’re probably wondering how I got here
Folks when i tell you this analogy rules I am not holding back. Also it is so cool to see ILLEGALS, one of the most political fantasy stories I’ve ever written, get brought to life in such a gorgeous, action-stacked collection. Support the gang and snag yourself a copy! wherelegendswalk.com
gotta say, if I got owned by *Matt Yglesias* I would just delete my entire internet presence
My short story "Don't Wake Up Too Fast" will be available to read in the upcoming anthology AURORA, out on 11/4! Very excited to share this coming-of-age magical realism tale about a teen Caribbean dreamwalker with all of you. Yes, even you!
The NYT headline is bad enough but here is WaPo finding some way to top them
