It was a beautiful day to run in the woods with my trail friends! #runsky #running #ultrarunning
This is legitimately so funny and unhinged, especially since this comes right after in the email advertisement. No one’s doing it like Bill Penzey.
On every walk, the dogs like to take turns doing crimes. Today, this one committed Big Poop on Lawn, Eat Dead Bird, and Try to Murder Turtle.
#showmeyourknits: shawl week! 🧶 I love making shawls because my general wardrobe tends to be very simple, so they're a great way to add a pop of color and visual interest.
Today was my last day in Paris and all of my photos from the trip are either “dog in art” or “color inspo for knitting projects”
Happy 2 year anniversary #showmeyourknits!!! Here is one of the very few patterns I’ve knit twice (and is featured in my profile pic: Canut by Berangere Cailliau 🧶
I love the #showmeyourknits theme this week: what tools and notions make your knitting better, easier, and more fun? My favorite is this little moon-bound astronaut yarn bowl from @amyraehill.bsky.social
Better late than never to #ShowMeYourKnits texture week! 🧶 All of these are done in the same wool yarn, Purl Soho Wigeon, so you can see what a difference a stitch pattern makes to the finished fabric.
Jesus, the AQI in Duluth might be the worst I’ve ever seen. It got so bad so fast.
Good news/bad news time 🧶 Good news: I finished my first knitting project of 2026 after a long slump! Bad news: I hate the fit 😞
More #showmeyourknits #WIP progress. So close to done, maybe 10-15 more rows until I bind off. I’ll for sure get it on the blocking mats today! 🧶
Back to work the morning, so progress will be slower, but I probably only have about 80 rows to go before I can cast off! 🧶 I think that’s doable by Thursday, but I’ll set myself a stretch goal of Wednesday for some extra motivation.
10 hours, ready to join the front and back to work the body in the round. But first, pizza!
About 8 hours in, ready to start the back armhole increases. 🧶 But first, a run break. Also, I make the ugliest short rows I’ve ever done and I’m desperately hoping they’ll block out. I forgot how unforgiving cotton yarn is.
I got conned into being social yesterday, so I’m still only about 5 hours into this. But today I only have to do laundry and watch sports, so I should be able to get a lot done. Finishing up the front armhole increases, then I can start on the back. I’m going to add some short rows, I think.
#showmeyourknits: what’s on your needles? 🧶 I’m doing a speed knit challenge like @livrunsfast.bsky.social so I can try to finish my first project of the year! Only about 3.5 hours in, but here’s my progress while I catch up on the Silverstone sprint race.
Taking inspiration from @livrunsfast.bsky.social, let’s see if I can get a knitting project done before the end of the weekend. Mine is far less elaborate than hers 😅 I have a trip to Paris coming up in a couple of weeks and I need a summer top. Here’s SABAI Top No. 2s progress as of 4pm today 🧶
Thank you, it’s one of my favorites 💛 And it’s huge, it’s like wearing a blanket
#showmeyourknits week 100(!): blues It’s fair planning season, so I’m interpreting this as blue ribbon winners to help me ✨manifest✨ this year’s success
If you picked 2.5 flats of strawberries, what would you do with them? I always do jam (3x county fair blue ribbon winner, thanks very much), shortcake, and strawberry rhubarb crisp, but I need some fresh ideas.
