New pillows as recommended by @vivschwarz.bsky.social are great but the delivery company decided to deliver them in ripped packaging to my watery bin. That’s not usually where I like to keep my pillows but oh well. Still 10/10 would also recommend.

Look at Birmingham today - I mean this is just nuts isn’t it. Has there been a procession like this for other celebs to this scale? I know Jimmy Savile had that procession in Leeds but people correctly try to forget about that, obviously.

Always kinda feel like I need to preface talk of Birmingham with explanation - I’m from working class Brum but I moved to Berlin over 10 years ago on a whim + for various reasons now I’m stuck here. I love Berlin but it’s still confusing to me on a daily basis that I’m living in another country 🙃

I don’t often miss my hometown, but when I see surreal happenings like this it feels strange not to be there. Then… on my daily walk today, I spotted this and it made me feel a bit less homesick.
