#WipWednesday Partially glued together Roger, with the amount of epoxy and CA glue I’m using I do the gluing outside, had to stop due to heat right now. Saw a community challenge on Baselair "Gobsmacked", so I think I have a mini picked out for that. Also working on another Zaku!

#WipWednesday I was pretty busy again this week, focused on hobby space re-organization. But I did find some time to cut some steel conduit to serve as Rogers support structure, partial dry fit to check the cuts. #WipWednesday I was pretty busy this week and almost all my hobby time went towards finishing Osterhilt, but I did use up an ancient roll of PLA I turned into some barriers and a crater (finished off with some white). Hopefully next Wednesday I'll have more WIP to show y'all!

#wip Got Osterhilt from the Mörderin by John Blanche Kickstarter based and primed! decided to use a 32mm base so i could make it a bit more dynamic instead of the included"slota" 25mm base. looking to paint her up with the colors from the John Blanche paint sets 1 & 2 tomorrow. #nerdlings

My Armageddon box is finally here! Also got a Mandalorian Army Box while I was at it, so it looks like I have no shortage of hobby projects to work on for the immediate future.

#wipwednesday Been Printing and assembling more legally distinct hive of scum and villainy 3D printed Terrain. Assembled Osterhilt from the Mörderin Kickstarter, considering building a large fancy base for them. And tested some Seymour filler primer for 3D prints I wanted to try.

#wipwednesday Been putting together some 3D printed Terrain of a legally distinct hive of scum and villainy, painting up Agent ZO, I think Its the perfect time to paint up a mini from the Mörderin Kickstarter, and printing a Battle Droid Replica, naming him Roger naturally.

I currently have a webcam on an arm that clamps to my desk along with a similar desk lamp and some overhead lights. I plug the webcam into my computer and record with OBS or other recording software. This setup isn’t too expensive and does the basics, might be an option depending on your needs.

I am absolutely devastated to learn that John Blanche has passed away. His work has influenced generations of hobbyists, with many finding his Grimdark style to be the heart and soul of Warhammer and beyond. He will be dearly missed by myself and the whole community. May you Rest In Peace John.

A Facebook post from Trish Carden Miniatures and Design aka monstergirl_trish, who is a friend of John Blanch, breaking the news of his passing. The post contains the following message along with a youthful picture of John Blanch: "I’m afraid I bring you some very sad news today.
John Blanche’s wife Lin has asked me to let you all know that John passed away a couple of days ago.
John was an inspirational artist, devoted to his family and a good friend to many. Always generous with his time and knowledge, he was very well loved by all who knew and worked with him. He’ll be hugely missed.
The world of Warhammer was brought to life by his vision of the grimdark setting and I know his art meant a lot to so many of you. He leaves behind an enormous legacy that has enriched many people’s lives.
The family will say goodbye to John privately but there will be a get together in the future for everyone to celebrate John’s life.

So I started organizing my hobby related tasks on a Kanban board with some reusable label magnets. I feel that having a physical reminder in a conspicuous place helps me better visualize and work towards making some progress on my hobby goals and work towards getting some minis done for #Paintslam26

Had a little time in between all the family gatherings for the holidays to do a little hobby. Was able to prime up some Minis from the recent Bad Squiddo Women of WW2: Resistance Kickstarter. Excited to have my Kickstarter shipment from @badsquiddogames.bsky.social come in today! While its a busy time of the year, I'm hoping to set aside some time to start working on these Minis and try out one of these backdrop books from @handiworkgames.bsky.social that I keep seeing people use.

I have to say as my first experience with Gunpla, I'm impressed by this a 10-12 USD beginner kit. It took about 40 minutes to casually put together while watching the original Mobile Suit Gundam. I'm definitely looking forward to pick up more kits in the future! #gunpla #gundam #hobby
