I shouldn't have looked at music subreddits. A lot of people aren't as snotty on there as I thought they'd be. But some of these topics asked are so damn juicy. Like whose voice makes you want to commit violence. Or bands that don't get on.

Also decided to listen to Space on the way back. The band, the slightly eccentric Liverpudlian lot. Guys. I love the album Spiders. It's unhinged. It stood out when I grew up. But... Uh. That album cover. I can't look at my phone if it plays. That was.. a choice.

Holy cow. I det art block for nearly a year and then Confuzzled rolls around and I crank out this monster. Our room sign for Confuzzled this year. Theme is musicals so did Little Shop of Horrors. I recreated the movie poster and tried to emulate the matte style with markers.

Audrey is green and yellow with dippled shading in black and tiny putrple flowers on the tenrils.

Loupgaros is a blue striped and blue-grey wolf-coyote wildcat hybrid wearing a red sleeveless sweater, jeansa nd a shirt. So essentially Rick Moranis.

Layla is in a sparkkling red dress and is sandy coloured with pink hair and pink then brown on the tail.

The flowerpot is a various shades of yellow and brownn.

The backdrop is a city skyline in black with yellow lights. The sky is a gradiated blue. Below the skyline is what looks to be a bridge with supports, a blue and white car and a road. Leaning on the flower pot is Linton S Aawson, an orange crow in garish blue, turquoise and orange garb.

Two characters, one being the Boogeyman from the Plastic Beach era of Gorillaz and the other being my demon OC, Jerry. Boogeyman wears what appears to be a coat and a gasmask. HJerry is a hybrid but what is obvious iare the spines on his back, scaled arms with long shaggy hair, a long bony face made up of an upper skull of a strange creature with forward cirling horns. He has no eyes but glowing eye sockets.

Top left corner: Both are playing cards. Jerry is humming.
Bottom left corner: Boogeyman sighs and Jerry gestures broadly and expectantly, saying 'Well?'
Top middle to right: Boogeyman's clawed hand puts his acrds to the table. '...I fold. You win again.'
A vague gasseous form atht is a soul is obvious between them. Jerry says (quite happily) 'You sound so bitter! ... Does this include the 'other' soul?'
Middle to right: Boogeyman closeup looking at the soul he's picked up then handing it to a clawed scaled talon.
Bottom middle to right: Boogeyman looking away, arms crossed, obviously pissed. Jerry pats him on the shoulder and looks at his prize in glee, saying 'There, there... There's always next time.

The End.

Context: In Gorillaz lore, Murdoc is an ass and promised his soul to Boogeyman. Like he does with everyone, cheated him so that was why Boogeyman was chasing him in Plastic Beach. This assumes he got his soul... but he lost to my OC so he kinda lost. Again.

I madeSkydream a cake as my gift. Went a bit extra on the messiness and the gamble paid off. It's nom!

A cake, chocolate spongecwith chocokate fudge buttercream icing, vanilla buttercream icing in the middle and topped with white chocolate buttons and caramel sauce. It has been cut into slices to reveal the middle.

Same but the outside to show the layers of vanilla buttercream icing on the outside.

And Port Talbot at night. I tried. But it captures how the water looks so different at night. Looks deadlier if you don't know what you're doing. I was naturally cautious but it was still beautiful.
