And you think Russia isn’t already fighting a war in Europe?
"Some countries, including Mongolia and Brazil, consider all fossils found in those countries in recent decades to be property of the state..."
Ha! Rather reminiscent of the time when a Derby Council CEO pushed through plans to build a cycle track on a legally designated Local Nature Reserve I’d created. Had to get a court injunction and threaten Judicial Review before they halted the diggers. All the Planning Officers supported us!
What?!!!!!??? A #Solar farm that has increased its biodiversity AND rears sheep on the land? Whatever next? Windmills that go round and round whenever the wind blows?
And so say all of us!
Big panels have little panels, Upon their backs to brighten ‘em. And little panels have tiny panel, And so, ad infinitenum! #Solar #SolarPV #Renewables
“Protest is acceptable as long as it’s useless. Let the people have their say, but only if we can’t hear them.”
Oh, so on-point!
"#Reform takes pride in its stringent vetting of donations ..." ...and only takes money from foreign #cryptobillionaires, #Russian proxies, and mothers of convicted #criminals? And maybe a few gullible flag-shagging Brits, too. #ReformUK #Tice #Farage
Really exciting news. Let's hope she has the guts & support to deliver. The jury's out but, 'cos of her immigrant origins, the #ReformUK flag-shaggers will no doubt say she's no right to lead as #EnergySecretary on #netzero and #climatebreakdown in the UK. #4BD #climatecrisis #Rosebank #Jackdaw
Fantastic stuff! #solar #solarPV #agrivoltaics #climatecrisis
Up there with the best: The Market Deeping Model Railway Club is a wonderful #theatre production at Nottingham Playhouse. Comedy and pathos all in one. And based on a true tale of mindless vandalism, too. www.theguardian.com/stage/2026/j...
I think the rest of the world can support this concept?
Had my first taste of VAT 69 whisky after moer than two decades. It didn't have the mild smoky flavour I thought I remembered. Nice though.
Listened to @rogerhallam.com tonight talking to a global audience about their financial 'pain points' in raising awareness of the impending deaths of up to 4 billion through #climatebreakdown as the earth heats up. These are forecasts from insurance actuaries - not scaremongers #4BD #4billiondead
Give it another 20-30 years and utter human chaos will reign. Not to mention ecosystem collapse and mass extinctions. Figures from the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries; University of Exeter. #4BD #4billiondead 4billiondead.org
Oh dear. The problem of purchasing second hand electronics on eBay!
Not my area of expertise, but DYK there are various online tools for font ID? WhatTheFont/MyFonts.com are two examples. Here are two vague matches found within a few minutes. Hope this helps.
Lots of blossom on the Cox’sOrange Pippin apple tree from B&M that I planted on the allotment last year. The test, of course, is whether it produces quality fruit in the summer!
Nice to revisit the building where I began my #museum career… …47 years ago!
Three more #museum objects from my past. Two that I’ve owned, and one that I once commissioned a full-scale working replica of.
No visit to the V&A is complete without you finding something on display that you have owned. Today I found two things!
How weird to encounter both the #Tardis and the #Pandorica in London today. #DrWho
