Well I am not sure if I have any recs that stand up to the two you mentioned. Or if the ones I like are ones you will like. But for movies with the same “kind of genre look & feel” try The Shadow, and The Phantom maybe
You can Google to find lots of Pulp, but it isn’t all going to be as good as that stuff (those movies) written in the modern era for a modern audience.
