Attended the Footscray community rally for a moratorium on AI data centres on Sunday. Strong turnout despite the rain. Notably, state Labor MP Katie Hall said she supports a data centre "pause". Labor is feeling the pressure but the community isn't buying it and will keep fighting.

After local community members launched a popup Local Energy Hub in Wollongong CBD yesterday... Liberal Candidate for Cunningham Amanda Ivaneza has accused organisers of misinformation, claiming she was never invited. Problem is we got receipts 😭

I totally thought this was just a private collection at my local coffee shop Kines, but turns out it's a decolonial library - Murmur Library. The collection is awesome and easy as to borrow. If you're around Brunswick check it out.

In stark contrast local offshore wind supporters like Good for the Gong have been doggedly positive and open, working with experts, educating themselves + their neighbours about offshore wind pros and cons. This is the crucial work needed to make sure communities have a real say in this industry.
