Thanks! 💙 As for pattern, yes and no. It's Hönsestrikk, a free-form, colorful style of knitting that originated in Denmark in the 1970s. You choose colors and motifs as you wish. There are many books with motifs to choose from, for example this one.

#showmeyourknits theme this week is animals. This sweater is probably the only garment with animal motifs I have knitted. But it makes me sad to look at these days, because the wonderful 4 year old I knitted it for (my best friend's child) passed away just 3 months later, from aplastic anemia. ♥️💛🧡 🧶
