I have been looking for this forever. I have a “Sunday Best” promo 12” and had very high expectations for a new album (wasn’t quite as thrilled with F-Punk) and somehow never found this collection online before it vanished.

Not gonna lie, I didn’t get into the Smiths until after they broke up. Somehow it didn’t connect with me in my early teens, but it hit me hard a few years later, and I finally “got” them. Happy 40th to what is now my favorite album of theirs.
