The Paradox Of Tolerance
By philosopher Karl Popper

Should a tolerant society tolerate intolerance? The answer is NO.

It's a paradox, but unlimited tolerance can lead to the extinction of tolerance.

When we extend tolerance to those who are openly intolerant... The tolerant ones end up being destroyed. And tolerance with them.

Any movement that preaches intolerance and persecution must be outside of the law. As paradoxical as it may seem, defending tolerance... Requires to not tolerate the intolerant.

The Paradox of Tolerance disappears if you look at tolerance, not as a moral standard, but as a social contract.

If someone does not abide by the terms of the contract, then they are not covered by it.

In other words: The intolerant are not following the rules of the social contract of mutual tolerance.

Since they have broken the terms of the contract, they are no longer covered by the contract, and their intolerance should NOT be tolerated.

I don't know if you're able to get it there, but Bundaberg ginger beer is fantastic! They also have a Spiced Ginger Beer that's only available around Christmastime (so, now). Which I like... but probably not as much as the regular one.
