We congratulate Dr. Abdul El-Sayed’s primary victory. Winning the primary is step one and earning the full Democratic coalition in November will take deliberate, meaningful work.

To build the broad coalition needed to win the general election, Dr. El-Sayed must address the harm caused during this campaign. While debating campaign finance and political spending is a
standard part of Democratic primaries, repeatedly singling out organized Jewish political participation as a proxy for special interest corruption crossed an alarming line. For many in our community, this framing functioned as a dog whistle that demonized mainstream Jewish civic
engagement.

Healing requires accountability and constructive dialogue. If Dr. El-Sayed seeks to represent our entire state in the United States Senate, his campaign must commit to engaging directly with Michigan’s Jewish community demonstrating a genuine commitment to engage with our community on its own terms, respecting the deep connection many Michigan Jews have to Israel,
rejecting rhetoric that demonizes the Jewish civic identity, and seeking common ground on life issues that concern all Michiganders.

TO CONCERNED JEWISH DEMOCRATS ACROSS MICHIGAN:
We hear your frustration, anxiety, and deep disappointment. Many of you feel that the nominee’s foreign policy record and campaign rhetoric do not represent the values of the consensus majority of Michigan Jewry.

Dan Orlovsky, "playing" "quarterback" for the Detroit Lions of the "NFL."

He has clearly run about three feet out of the back of the end zone, but still thinks he will be allowed to complete a pass.

The referee is signing for a safety. Because everybody in the stadium, except for Orlovsky, knows you can't just run out the back of your own end zone with the ball.

You can clearly see that number 69 for the Minnesota Vikings is laughing at just how bad Orlovsky is at understanding football, even though he's wearing a face mask.

Why does anybody care what Dan Orlovsky thinks about football?

My "The Fall River School Committee doesn't waste everybody's time by asking intentionally ignorant questions" t-shirt has people asking a lot of questions already answered by my shirt.

"I respectfully disagree with the premise of this," said (Fall River Massachusetts) School Committee member Collin Dias.

Dias asked Curtin where the Department of Elementary and Secondsry Education's offices were, and whether he used a state-funded vehicle or his own car to attend meetings in Fall River, and whether he was being reimbursed for mileage.

Curtin seemed puzzled and said, "I'm not sure how this is germane to the letter."
