It be almost midnight

And late night is being a total sap time

Needless to say, my little hiatus and guerilla schedule hasnt been as smooth sailing as I had hoped. Life kicking me in the balls over and over plus numerous personal revelations that have left me a very changed person. All culminating in me leaving the old dragon behind and becoming something that feels more like myself.

I was, and still probably am, a horrid people pleaser. I've worn so many masks both online and off trying to keep myself palatable so people would like me. Doing the things I felt I was "supposed to" so people would wanna talk to me. The issue was when all you do is try to appease others, there's not really much for anyone to latch onto. Even if being your true self causes some difficulties, miscommunications, and elsewise, being able to trudge through them and come out on the other side results in bonds and memories far stronger than a road with no bumps would give.

With this new look, is coming a new me. Technically it's been out for awile but with my monitor not staring at me with a visage that was born of a fools errand to be more "likeable," I'll have an easier time not letting the mask slip back on. I'm gonna be louder, more impulsive, more willing to let myself speak my mind in the moment instead of meticulously curating every single thing that goes through my head before my mouth says it. It hasn't been easy maintaining it, I'm fighting nearly 28 years of conditioning here, and it will likely be jarring for some, but like I said, I want yall to have something to latch onto.

This point forward isnt gonna be about views, content, or any other performative bullshit that Twitch incentivizes and celebrates. The only thing I want, is for me, the real me, to hang out with my lovely community for the first time. And I hope yall will stick around for every little bump. I love yall, and thank you guys for getting with me this far.
